Cooking Thursday

This time of year we have a lot of parties or gatherings where I'm supposed to bring some goodies to share.  I have a yummy fruit dip to share with you today, that's perfect for this sort of occasion. It's easy to make, tastes good and looks festive!
For more recipes, visit Sandra at Diary of a SAHM.

Peppermint Crunch Fruit Dip

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
13 ounces marshmallow cream
8 candy canes

Beat together cream cheese and marshmallow cream.
Crush candy canes into small pieces and stir it into cream cheese mix, reserving some of the larger pieces.
Sprinkle larger pieces on just before serving.
Serve with apples slices.

Just popped over from Joey's blog and saw this recipe. It looks so different and interesting! I bet the contrast between the tartness of the apples and the sweetness of the other ingredients is great!
