Good Mail Day!

I don't know about you, but usually when I go out to the mail box there is rarely anything good in it. It seems to be mostly junk with a bill or two thrown in!
The other day I had something nice in my mail. It was a little package from my friend Jenny of I'm Having A Thought Here.
I've been enjoying Jenny's blog and her amazing photography for some time. She sent these book swags that she made; one for me and one for Heather. They are really pretty - much better than the little slips of paper I usually end up using. :)
We both thought it was so sweet of her to send and we'll love using them.
Thanks Jenny!

I love those! What a sweet gift and it sure does beat junk mail or bills.

I told you I'd be by to ask you a question, Mari. I feel like you are someone that I could very easily hang out and visit and (join in on the fun shopping trip with you and your sisters.) Are you content with how you are using your talents? If yes, how and if no, what would you dream of doing instead?

You can answer this by emailing me or by posting on my blog.

Thanks!

Those are so pretty with the beads. I have one someone made me in my Bible. Makes me smile.

I have something similar with beads and I love them. Yet I especially like the little charms on yours.

I like the question Simone asked of you. If you share the answer openly, I'd be curious of your answer.

Okay, time to run out to my mailbox!

I'm so glad you liked the bookmarks, Mari! I have such fun making them. I'm going to add a page to my site where people can order any color and size and type of ribbon they want, and any kind of charm, whatever color and so forth. The possibilities are infinite! Also you can send me old earrings or beads or necklaces or bracelets that you'll never wear again, to make into bookmarks. So thank you for the promotion of my little craft! I appreciate both it and you.
