Every once in a while we hear a story about someone who has overcome great difficulties and is able to do something that seems amazing to the rest of us.

  7. I guess we'll never know the limits of human achievement when someone simply refuses to feel sorry for themselves. This has inspired me today, Mari. Thank you, my friend!

  13. Mari,
I wish I started blogging when Heather was at GVS so maybe we could have gone to lunch together! Heather and I share inspirational or funny videos on a regular basis so I will be sending her “Live Wonderfully”.
Being a nurse you understand what we are dealing with from a professional point of view and your prayers are most welcome.
    Hugs, Cathy

  15. Mari,
I know you're friends with Kayren @ Everything's Coming Up Daisies, but did you know her husband Robert is going to be Heather's donor?
They gave permission for me to disclose this so I reworked my blog post. You might want to take a second look at it.
Kayren told me when I first met her online she found me from your blog...what a blessing.
    Hugs, Cathy

  16. ps...regarding potato casseroles and freezing them...just make sure you bake 'em first ---then freeze. Like already cooked and frozen french fries, etc.
