Wreath Making 201

Every year my sisters-in-law have a wreath making party and tonight was the night for it.  They invite lots of people, who show up when they can.  We all gather around tables in the basement and  begin to trim different types of greenery and attach it to wire frames.

Here are some of the participants, hard at work.
~~~
This little one is my nephews daughter Tierney.  She was with us last year sitting in a car seat.  This year she was running around!
~~~

Our hostesses even made us these cute little bags to take home.  They smell like Christmas trees!
They also fed us a really good supper.
~~~
Here are some of the finished products!  From left to right are:
my daughter Laura, my niece Alecia, my sister-in-law Bonnie, my daughter Heather
Each wreath is different and beautiful in its own way.
~~~

Here is my wreath, hanging on my front door.
Thanks, Karla and Diane for another fun evening!

I enjoyed this last year..and just as much this year! It must smell wonderful while you are putting all the greenery together. What a wonderful tradition, if I lived closer, I'd be one of the wreath makers!!

Mari, that is beautiful! What a neat idea! Where do they get the greenery from? Do they buy it or do they have things in the yard they can trim from? (Can you tell my wheels are turning?)

I remember your post last year! It is a great idea. I think I'll start doing the same next year. Your wreath is beautiful. Karla is one of your sisters? My Mum's name is Karla, which in Portugal is not very usual. We have that name but with a C: Carla.
