Winter Wonderland?

The weather outside is frightful! We have been getting lots of snow and sleet here in Michigan. When my friend Shelly sent me these videos I knew I needed to share them!

Looks like fun, doesn't it?

  1. that first one is too funny, but the second one ...seriously how dumb are some of those people trying to get out or look at stuff while there are other cars still coming.

  2. I sure don't miss driving in the snow. Don't those people know they are much safer in their cars then trying to bail out? Stupid people.

  3. That lady in TC did not know anything. That is hilarious! Glad you added to your blog.

Those other people should have stayed home or in the car!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Oh my word! Snow is beautiful, but I don't want any part of driving in it. Please be careful.

    Christmas hugs for you!

  5. Funny videos. Not missing the snow at all! After last winter I don't care if I never see it again :-)
Found your blog circuitously while blog hopping to see the pretty Christmas trees :-)
We left Michigan in August to move to South America. So while y'all are defrosting your cars, we're sweltering in the high 90s. VERY happy to have finally bought a couple of fans yesterday :-)

  11. Oh, all those scenes are too familiar! I just don't leave the house now when the weather is that awful, but I do realize others still have to. I just say a prayer at that time for saftey for all those on the roads.
Meanwhile, our snow has melted, but we have a long way to go till we're in the clear!!

  15. I've never understood why people don't just stay home on days like that! But when I lived in Ohio, they still expected us to show up at work on time, even in the worst of weather! I've spent some time in ditches. I don't miss it! The snow is pretty, though.

  16. Only those of us that live in this stuff understand the trickery of driving in it - it's certainly a whole new driving scheme. That really was funny - as long as I wasn't one of them in it!

  17. I did that very thing on Thursday near the mall - in that little corner that goes from Home Depot to the mall, a lady in front of me slid into the intersection and zip, there I went right after her and there was nothing I could do, I went right into her. Luckily, no injuries or damage. Whew!
