Slow Cooking Thursday

It's Thursday and Sandra from Diary of a SAHM is once again hosting Slow Cooking Thursday. My recipe for today is an easy side dish. I think you'll like these!

Parmesan Potato Wedges
2 pounds red potatoes
1/4 cup finely diced onion
3 tablespoons butter, cut in small pieces
2 tablespoons oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese*
Cut potatoes into wedges and place in slow cooker. Sprinkle onion pieces over top, then pieces of butter. Stir together the oregano, salt and pepper and sprinkle over potatoes and onions.
Cook on high for 4 hours.
Transfer to serving plate and sprinkle with cheese.
*may use finely shredded cheddar cheese instead of Parmesan if desired.

  7. Mari,

I have red potatoes right now and this is what we're having for supper tonight. Thanks so much for sharing. I'm so tired of traditional fare and this one will be easy.

Watched the videos below. I've seen such things happen on our roads and you probably have too. Enjoyed them though.

    Blessings,
    Mary
