It's time for another Slow Cooking Thursday, hosted by the lovely Sandra at Diary of a SAHM. Today I have an easy sandwich recipe for you.
.
Barbecued Chicken Sandwich
6 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 onion, chopped
2 cups water
1 1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 teaspoon salt

In 4 quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients except chicken, then stir in chicken. Cook on low for 6-7 hours. Serve on buns.

this looks delicious, I will have to try this this summer.
This looks like a great recipe. I'm all for slow cookers. Seems like I'm always forgeting to thaw something out for dinner any more, I must be too busy trimming my hedges, LOL!
I'm diffently trying this one,it looks like a good alterative to hamburg barbecues.Take care,Patty
This looks like a chicken bbq?
YUM this sounds great Mari :)
I am going to have to print this one off. YUMMY. How did you cook your chicken?
this look yummy and perfect for the weekend at the park ;-) thanks, happy 4th..
This looks really yummy and like something my family would enjoy. Plus anything simple is good in my book! I think I have bigger than a 4 quart slow cooker though. I have the big oval one since I have such a big family. I'll have to check and then double it, or I'm going to have to break down and be a double Crock Pot family because it seems like I find recipes for both. :)
