I'm Giving Thanks
I saw this on Bonnies blog and thought it was a great idea. It originated with Leah of Southbreeze Farm. She is challenging us to remember to be thankful this month. In the rush to Christmas, we tend to skip right over Thanksgiving, when we all have so much to be thankful for. This will be in my sidebar and I will be adding one thing each day. If you want to join in, you are welcome at any time this month. I started with 7 things since it is already the 7th of the month. The thing I have listed for today is the return of our Pastor. He is a chaplain with the Navy Reserves and has been gone since October of last year. He was serving at our medical facility in Germany. He is much loved and has been missed. He returns tonight, and after a few weeks to reconnect with his family, will be back worshipping with us!

It's wonderful to give thanks for the blessings in our lives. Thanks for reminding us.
AMEN TO THAT!!
I'm so happy he's back- I can't wait for the first Sunday in church when he's back- how awesome that's going to be!
I'm also thankful for Pastor Steve and Brandon and the rest of them that did such a great job in his absence.
Yay for thankfulness!!
It's so fun to see so many people doing this. I look forward to watching your list grow this month!
I told Brenda to be my eyes tonight for the arrival of Pastor Paul so hopefully we will see some pictures tomorrow for those of us who can't be there to welcome him home. I am so excited to have him back!
I know - I should be doing this too. I'm just a bit delinquent. Hopefully you will motivate me a bit more!
I'm glad you are participating in this ! I'm finding it really great to think of something each day and be intentionally thankful !
What a great idea!!! It's always a good thing to take the time to think about what we are thankful for.
That's so exciting! I just hope that he has some good restful time with his family before everyone starts bombarding him!
LOVE the list and can't wait to see all the things you are grateful for!
What a lovely idea! It is so hard to focus on the important stuff with so many distractions around us! The busy work drives me crazy...I look forward to seeing your list grow!
thanks Mari, I think I may have to try that! And another AMEN with Cheri's! I can't wait to see Paul again. I think there will be alot of tears, good tears!!!!
AMEN, SISTAH! I have to check that blog out . . . putting it on my to-do list for tomorrow! We all have so many things to be thankful about and should think daily (all year long) about them and thank our Lord above for His blessings!
