Take time to smell the roses (or at least enjoy the flowers!)
I love this time of year when the flowers start blooming. At our house it is a time to watch old favorites bloom and start new ones growing. I can't take the credit for this other than planting a few annuals. Bob is the gardener/landscaper at our house. He is good at it and he enjoys it, which is a plus. Yesterday, after we both got out of work, he got a few flowerbeds ready and we planted our annuals. While doing this, I enjoyed seeing some of the perennials which are blooming. I thought I should share them. There is nothing like a flowerbed in bloom to put you in a good mood!

Wow- your flowers really look great! I'm jealous of your green grass in the front- ours is starting to not look so good!
Yeah, our grass isn't grass really, it's just weeds! And your landscaping always looks so beautiful. Hopefully under Dad's tutelage ours will someday look like that! :)
Your landscaping always looks good. I wish mine looked half as good.
Your yard is beautiful. How nice to have a husband with all those talents. Lucky you.
