We made a fun purchase last week. Bob has been driving a Ford Edge which has been a great car, but it's not the best thing when he needs wood for carpentry items. We had decided to keep our eyes open for a used truck so he could use it to get wood or haul items.
Once you look at something like that on a computer, you start getting inundated with lots more! He had one pop up that had very low mileage so we went to check it out, and we ended up buying it.
Yes - he's happy!

That is one Red Shiny New Truck!!!! Men love their trucks. Ours is white and is used once a week in warm months to go to the compost pile. It was his retirement gift, lol.
My middle son's first vehicle in 1998 was a Ranger. I believe we called it the Danger Ranger. We liked it because it had bucket seats and he could only have one passenger.

What a nice ride Bob got. It will be good for him for his wood projects. Congrats to him. We will be looking for a new ride for my Bob too soon. His cargo van is a 2014 one and he needs one for hauling antiques. Janice
Oh, how wonderful! What man wouldn't want a shiny new red truck? It's beautiful!! I can see it now with a Christmas tree in the back all decorated for Christmas next year! LOL. Enjoy!!!

of course he is happy, he is a MAN... Bob loves his truck and so do I, in fact we bought the truck in 2004 for me to drive. over the years he took it and I got an SUV. My son and his wife, Dan and Michele have matching Big Black Ram Trucks... he is 6'5" she is 5'2" she gets in and out of and I can't. but I used to.. we are truck lovers. congrats on the new truck

Oh yeah, that's perfect! Low mileage, and RED! Paul used to have a little red Toyota truck. It's almost a need to have a truck when you do building projects, and we take our garbage to the dump once a week, it's nice to put those cans in the back of a truck. Ours is an older Nissan, but it also had very low mileage when we got it. I'm happy for Bob!

My Hubby always wanted a truck but we could never justify getting one. We are also too broke to get one not complaining though. We have gotten along just fine but I do understand about men and their trucks.

One of Carroll's sisters had a Ford Edge for a number of years. She really liked it and it served her well.
I LIKE Bob's new truck! Wow...low mileage and 4-wheel drive besides! Seeing the picture of him with it reminds me of when Carroll got his red truck. He had his heart set on it and so we bought it...without testing it to see if I could reach the gas pedal. HA! That was one vehicle I didn't drive. :) It's okay though...we had a car also.

Go Bob! What a beauty!! Matt lives for his truck and it so nice knowing we have a vehicle that is bigger and can haul things too. I'd say a pretty smart plan (other than Matt is a chevy person 😉) Lol
Nice truck! I am a pickup truck kinda person. We have two. The red one is "mine" as it's the older truck and I prefer it to the new black one. Both are Nissan Frontiers. I wouldn't have it any other way. I pray your new ride gives y'all years of faithful service. They sure are practical to have. ✨✨
How exciting! I do understand how nice it is to drive a truck, as that is what I drive, a 4x4 pickup, an older model but it serves us well up here in the winter!
