Cooking Thursday

Today's recipe doesn't require any baking. All you have to do is melt white chocolate!  This is a Christmas mix that's so easy to make and is always a favorite.  I made a bunch this year for gifts; some for the girls I used to work with, some for the neighbors and some for our small group from church.  If you need a quick gift, this is a good one!

Christmas Mix

3 cups Cheerios
2 cups Corn Chex
3 cups Rice Chex
2 cups mini pretzels
1/2 pound Holiday M&M's
1 pound white chocolate

Stir together dry ingredients.
Melt white chocolate and pour over cereal mix.
Stir together and pour out onto wax paper.  Let cool and break apart.

  6. I might do this - one question: does the mix get soft or soggy after being in the plastic bag?

  7. In answer to Debby - the mix stays crispy in the bag.

  8. Oh, what a delicious and easy treat to make and eat! I love that stuff, although I would leave out the m&m's because I can't do the chocolate, but the white chocolate doesn't bother me so much. My sister usually makes this and gives us some, but I don't know if I want to wait for that. I may be putting these ingredients on my grocery list! Thank you for the idea!

  9. This looks and sounds so good and reminds me a little of one I want to make this Christmas that I haven't before. It's got potato chips, white chocolate and Christmas sprinkles. 😉 Tis the season for all things naughty. It's a good thing we're on the nice list - so we can indulge in a little naughty. ❤️💚
