Let's talk about the weather!

We have had an unusually mild winter this year, but that all came to an end last week.  First we got hit with such cold!  I got called in to work early last week, and when I was driving in at 2:30 in the morning, it was -9 degrees!  That is way too cold for me.
Then then snow came.

Here's what our road has been looking like.

The area snowmobilers have been happy!

It looks especially pretty when the sun comes out.

Snow is piling up over everything!

And here is what the week is supposed to look like.  We live just under the -25 on the map.
It could be a long week!

  4. And I was moaning about the cold to someone at church yesterday and it was 4 degrees! Still cold today, but no snow so I'm pleased. Please drive carefully, and carry a shovel in your car!

  6. Oh Mari. I'm so sorry. Please be careful when you have to go out! It seems to me that February is always the worst month for miserable winter weather. xoxo

This would be a great time to take next year's Christmas card photo.
    Stay warm.

  8. These numbers are beyond comprehension to me. The coldest it ever really gets here is a few degrees below zero and that's usually when the wind kicks in. And while the photos are beautiful, I know they can be dangerous conditions to drive in...be careful!
