This is a salad chopper. It's a heavy duty chopper that works like a scissors. It has a curved piece on the bottom that allows you to chop things right in the bowl.
Here's one of their shots showing it being used to chop lettuce.
It's very handy for that, you can use it to chop up other salad fixings as well, but I probably wouldn't have purchased it just for that.
My friend told me about it because you can also use it to chop chicken.
Here's my chicken, all chopped and ready to use in a recipe. You can put your cooked chicken breasts right in the bowl and chop them up in no time flat. The chopper can go right into the dishwasher to be washed.
It's a very handy gadget, easy to use and a real time saver for me. You can chop most anything with it! So, if there is a Pampered Chef party in your future, this is my recommendation!
I have been to a couple of Pampered Chef parties and I do like the products. I'll have to keep this one in mind should I find someone who is having a party. Thanks for the recommendation, Mari!
ReplyDeleteI have heard of Pampered Chef, but haven't been to one of their parties for years. I think that kitchen chopper is something I would like and use a lot too!
ReplyDeleteI own a few Pampered Chef items and LOVE them all! I will need to check out that handy chopper thing.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a very useful kitchen tool. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThat sure looks like a handy gadget and would save time as well. Thanks for the recommendation.
ReplyDeleteI love Pampered Chef but I have not seen that product. Looks like it would come in very handy!!
ReplyDeleteI love gadgets but often forget to use them:)
ReplyDeleteMari, I LOVE Pampered Chef products and it's probably been two or three years since I attended a party. My favorite PC product is the microwave rice cooker. It cooks rice perfectly - in the microwave. No water run-over to clean up. Love it. I may have to investigate that chopper! Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeletePampered Chef products are really great. I had an ice cream dipper that was worth its weight in gold.
ReplyDeleteI adore pampered chef things! The items I have - many I have had for many years. Great quality tools...and I love the idea of this one!! I think I would get a lot of use from it too. Thanks for the tip! xoxo
ReplyDeleteGood to know! Thank you! Everything I have of theirs is absolutely great.
ReplyDeleteNeat! I have one Pampered Chef glass bowl and we use it every day for baking and cooking. I went to a party as a favor to a friend starting a business years ago and I have to say, that bowl is one of the best things I have ever purchased. Who knew!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you could take it out in the garden and prune the roses with it too, haaahahaha. I once had a PC paring knife that came in a sheath that sharpened it every time you pulled it out. I loved that thing but something happened to it; I can't remember what. I have no luck whatsoever with knives. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat looks so handy!! I hate chopping chicken - especially if it's still hot!
