So, last week the weather report said something about a "blob of cold air is stuck over West Michigan and it has no plans to leave soon". Here's a few pictures of what it looked like.
Our back yard
While I was outside taking this pictures, there were a bunch of birds singing. It was a bit confusing!
I have this little frame in the kitchen that we write notes or reminders on. I had written Happy Spring! on it, and drawn the flowers. I came home from work to see that Bob changed the ! to a question mark and added falling snow flakes. :) It made me laugh, and it pretty much sums up our weather!
I think we are all so ready for some 'real' spring weather....no matter if you are north or south, just some sunshine and temps above freezing. Cute little write on board!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine living "up north" where it is still winter in April. I'm so spoiled living in FL. Your little note board is cute. We have a dry-erase board on the refrigerator where we leave notes for each other. Always fun. Stay warm up there!
ReplyDeleteHaha. I've just returned from a week in sunny hot AZ!
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been a bit crazy, too. But I don't think we've had that much snow for a while now. Love Bob's sense of humor. :-) xx
ReplyDeleteI think the weather is pretty strange everywhere right now. It's awfully cold where I live even though we have no snow. By now we usually, though not always, have very warm temperatures and gardens are planted. I don't have any snow where I live but there is some in the mountains. I like your husband's sense of humour ;-)
ReplyDeleteBrrrr. I'd much rather have summertime temps in Spring like here in Texas.
ReplyDeleteI know you are tired of snow! That is cute about Bob adding the question mark and snowflakes!
ReplyDeleteHave a good day and I hope you warm up soon!
Sigh, I think western NY is stuck in the same time warp then, lol. Hope you have a lovely day, Mari. smiles
ReplyDeleteOh, dear. It reminds me a lot of when we lived in central NY near Lake Ontario. I remember panicking when we had a snowstorm on May 18 the year we got married...our wedding was the following weekend, May 25, and I was so worried it would be snowing that day too. It didn't snow, thankfully!
ReplyDeleteYou dear sweet girl . . . I wish I could send you some sunshine :)
ReplyDeleteYou have had a long winter, hope you will see spring flowers soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd they will be beautiful.
It’s been a crazy spring here too, we are supposed to get snow on Sunday ☹️
ReplyDeleteBob is so much fun! Your snow pictures are lovely. They are in a class all their own. Now if only winter would learn when it is supposed to stay in its season.
ReplyDeleteOh you know I feel your pain neighbor!! ;)
ReplyDeleteWe just had more snow last evening. I think we've had snow almost as many days as not in the past week. Thankfully it always melts during the daytime. They say we have really truly warm weather coming on Friday. Can hardly wait!!!
ReplyDeleteBob's snowflakes, haaahahaha! What a card he is. I've watched your weather with fascination this spring. Maybe you're set for a doozy of a summer. One can only hope. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh Dad - he is too funny!
