A few pumpkins and a big purple mum at our front door.
I have an old milk can that came from my Dad's farm. It sits by the back door and I change the sign in it for different seasons.
This centerpiece on the table also gets changed for different seasons.
This little vignette is next to our tv in the living room. I enjoy changing out the sign the and decorations.
One more spot, on an end table in the living room.
It's not much, but it is looking more like Fall!
Hi Mari,
ReplyDeleteYour home looks very welcoming and cozy decorated for fall. I know your granddaughters will love the pumpkins.
It all looks very nice!
ReplyDeleteI love it, Mari...thanks for the smiles.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks great. My favorite is the milk can and sign at your back door. Backdoor friends are the best anyway!! You have done more than I have. There are fallish wreaths on our front French doors and a ceramic pumpkin on the coffee table. I figure that's good through Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteCute fall touches.
ReplyDeleteLove the tabletop vignettes~~!
Have a great new week.

Well, I think it's much seeing as how I haven't done anything! Looks good. The milk can? Mom had one for years and years; she gave it to one of my 2nd cousins. Darn it! :)

It all looks very pretty, Mari. Your front steps are especially nice, very welcoming, like you're saying, "Come on in for a mug of hot apple cider!" :)
ReplyDeleteI just love all your decorations. I always hate to see summer end as well but at least there are so many great fall decorating options! I love all your little pumpkins and gourds! So pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove the decor, Mari. Feels like Fall!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't have to be much to be perfect and festive. It's all that and beautiful =)
ReplyDeleteI know you are now glad you did put some fall color in and around
ReplyDeleteyour home, I love this time of the year.
I like the way you have little areas in your house that change for the different seasons. It's a great idea. I think most people only do that at Christmas. Well we do anyway!
ReplyDeleteI got a purple mum this year too! It's "yuge." LOL ... also hey guess what? When TG went up to see his sister and brother in August and completely settle out all the matters having to do with their late parents' estate, he called and asked if I'd like an old farm milk can. OK sure, I said. Well I've seen your milk can lots of times but it wasn't until I saw it THIS time that I realized I now have one exactly like it! TG painted it black for me and WOW is that can heavy! The lid doesn't come off easily so we keep it closed. So you and I are twinning! Twinning is winning. xoxo
ReplyDeleteYour decorations are so nice. Fall is a great time to put out some antiques like you have. The old milk can and old scales mix well with fall arrangements. I like those beautiful mums at your front door along with the pumpkins you got the other days when you took Alaina and Ruby to get their pumpkins. And, to think that Mother Nature helped you decorate by dropping a few fall leaves around. It is picture perfect! It is a very warm and inviting front door!
ReplyDeleteLove it Mari! Looking festively perfect to me. ;) xoxo
