Here's a few things in our yard that make me happy.
These little berries are still hanging on the bush from last fall, and are looking pretty sad, but they add a touch of color in this brown season.
Although Bob hauled about 10 wheel barrows full of acorns from the yard, there are still plenty out there!
The dried grasses look pretty in the sunshine.
And the crocus are almost ready to open!
Doesn't it just make you smile?
Nice signs of spring in your area!
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy your artistry with your camera!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to see you having some color in your world, Mari! Very pretty pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.

I've always loved crocus. Have a lovely spring. P.S. We enjoyed "Crock Pot Grinders" again this evening, which I believe is one of your recipes that you shared a while back. I told my husband that my blogging friend Mari must be an amazing cook because all of your recipes are a "home run" at our house! Thanks for always sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love Spring! Nice to see some life out there again, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteYour pictures definitely tell the story. You have such a good eye for taking pictures and making them come alive. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks very nice! I need to plant some crocus!

I love seeing how your yard went from winter to spring! Such a beautiful sight!
ReplyDeleteYay for spring! I love seeing the new life begin to blossom :) Happy Monday! Hugs
ReplyDeleteOh Mari, your photographs made me smile today! What joy Spring brings to life... Here in South Africa we are welcoming Autumn with open arms after a long hot summer, but Spring is such a fresh and beautiful time of the year!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to have discovered your blog today:)
Blessings in the Lord!

Love it love it love it!!! Finally looking more like that around here too. Our bay is finally open and the grass is getting so green! Yay for a beautiful April!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWe have been starved for color to many months. Now spring can bring it on. Happy, happy dance.
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful springtime you have in your little corner of the world!
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty amazing. We are almost done with pollen-slime season. TG hosed down the front porch for me this morning because walking out there was like being in a dusty neon-yellow tunnel. I wonder how long before I hear a cicada. Hang in there Mari xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt's all starting to look like spring for real! Yay, you must feel great.
ReplyDeleteThese signs of spring really do lift our spirits. I need some crocus too since they are the first to appear in the spring.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, and they surely promise Spring has arrived!
