They are renting right now, and live in the top of this house. It's in an area where there are a lot of these big old houses. I love the charm they have! (I took this photo earlier in the year, when there was still snow on the ground.)
Their house sits on a hill and it overlooks the Grand River. This picture doesn't show it well, but they have a nice view of the city and the river.
They had crocus blooming already!
I didn't think to take more pictures inside! We were enjoying a yummy dinner and good conversation. I'll leave you with one more picture from their place.
Here's the sunset over the city. What a beautiful view!
A very nice home, and beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing. I love that style house. Oliver looks pretty content!
ReplyDeleteI like how they are perched up high with handsome views.
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeleteCat looks happy.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful view is priceless. xx
oilver looks so content up there on his perch! Cats truly make a house a home, don't they...?
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these sweet photographs!
Have a wonderfully blessed and special weekend!
Love and hugs,
Kelly-Anne
I, too, love the charm of old houses....and WHAT a lovely view!
ReplyDeleteThey live in a charming home and the views are spectacular. Oliver looks very content!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter and son-in-law have a beautiful view...and I love the home. We don't have any of that type of house in the area where we live, but in the area I was born in (about 30 minutes from here) there is a section of that town that every house looks like that. It's my favorite part of town. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, Mari!
Neat house and awesome views too! The house reminds me of the one we moved from last year.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
What a nice home with lots of room, sure Oliver will be happy with his mom in new home.
ReplyDeleteThere is something about the charm and personality of an older home...and the view of the river...wow!! I bet if the city lights can be seen, that would be a big plus.
ReplyDeleteNow wait a minute...did Oliver move out? Or the 'new home' is the cat cradle? Color me confused.
It looks like Oliver is happy in his new home!
ReplyDeleteA nice first home for sure.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful view, for sure!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics, Mari. Thanks for sharing. I hope Heather and Andrew will be happy there. :)
xoxo
Looks like such a charming home Mari! And what a beautiful view!!
ReplyDeleteI bet Oliver is settling in nicely and enjoying exploration of his new "digs". Lol
happy weekend ahead! xo
What a beautiful view to have! xx
ReplyDeleteThis a new experience for Heather - living in GR. I'll bet the house fits them though perfectly. The cat looks quite comfy also.
ReplyDeleteso pretty!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love big houses with porches! How pretty, and the view is priceless. They have a lovely home. Oliver looks quite content on his perch!!
ReplyDeleteI love Heather and Andrew's house! I like houses "Where Porches are Wide and Words are Long!" That would make a beautiful summertime porch. Every porch must have a swing and some ferns. Then at night they could sit out there and view the city lights. So, so nice!
ReplyDeleteSo.....Oliver has no place to hide from Alaina. Hahahaha! Poor baby!
They have really great views. I'll bet they're loving that. Oliver looks happy in his cat tree, too.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful weekend... :)
So lovely and nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely home! I understand about living in a two family home. We live in the bottom/first floor of a shared home. Waving to Oliver. Blessings
ReplyDeleteThat view! How wonderful for them. I love that old house. I'm so happy for Heather and Andrew and Oliver too xoxo
ReplyDeleteI think they have a nice place especially with that awesome window view.

ReplyDeleteOliver looks like he's sitting on his throne :) Great views! I know what you mean about getting involved in the conversation and food and forgetting to take photos :)
