Still Waiting...

This is probably how my daughter Laura is feeling now.  Our new granddaughter was due on Monday, the 27th.  She's taking her sweet time in arriving, and Laura is ready to be done.
She is starting with the nonstress tests tomorrow, and if that goes well, we'll continue to wait, like it or not!  Hopefully I'll have some news to share very soon.
PS - She's not spending 50% of her time fielding phone calls from me.  I'm trying to be good!

  1. Bless her heart, and yours too, Mari. It seems like such a long wait, and then when the baby is born the wait didn't seem all that long. Kind of like labor pains; we hurt and then we forget immediately! I pray all will go well! :)

  2. I was thinking about her today and wondering when she is due (I knew it was around this time!). Hopefully something happens soon. I remember very clearly those last few days/weeks of pregnancy and praying for labor to begin. I'll be praying for her and hoping to hear good news soon! :)

  4. Oh man, I know just how you feel, Mari. Audrey was at the very end of her endurance when she sprung a leak and it was time to go to the hospital. That night, precious Dagny arrived! I hope your baby comes tomorrow! Not because it's Halloween (I don't like Halloween) but because Laura wants it to be over! But November 1st would be a charming birthday too. I am on pins and needles waiting for the wonderful news! xox

  5. I hope she's not too uncomfortable. I never made it past 37 weeks with either of mine, so I really don't know what it's like to be where she is, but I hope everything goes well and that she's holding her new baby very soon.

  10. Very cute graphic! The waiting must be crazy for all of you, and especially for her! It's not something I ever went through personally, but my SIL was in labor for 36 hours for my folks' first grandchild (and my first niece). I wasn't there, but kept calling the hospital every few hours....not as good as you have been! Keep us posted!!

  18. Oh my goodness. I know you are on pins and needles. What fun! I'm loving every minute of my baby girl's pregnancy and anticipating the day. I'm sure Alaina will enjoy too. Do you think she will be jealous? Connor has been fine. You wouldn't even know there was a new addition. He just acts like it's no big deal.
