Queen Anne's Lace

One of the wild flowers I enjoy seeing in the summer is Queen Anne's Lace.  It's nearly done, but I found a few stragglers in the ditch down the road from me and thought I would share.

Pretty from start to finish!

  6. I do love this flower. Sad I don't know flowers but I've seen this one and loved it because it is white. If I had a green thumb, I would grow a garden of white. I had a vendor/friend who had the White Rabbit and her little white cottage was surrounded by all kinds of white blooms. The whole yard looked like a covering of snow from the road.

  7. Wow, ours was finished so long ago now, I am amazed that you still found some in bloom. It is lovely though isn't it. I like it when there are old flower stems that get frost on them, they look all sparkly and pretty then. xx
