Sixty residents and staff at the Diana Isaac Retirement Village in
Christchurch combined all their considerable talents to come up with
80-odd years of happy. The residents wanted to show their children and
grandchildren just what they're made of! I think they succeeded!
Cute as can be!
ReplyDeletePriceless!
ReplyDeleteAw...they are having a ball! ha.
ReplyDeletePut a smile on my face :) Hope I'm that feisty in a few years!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this!!! I miss my residents. I'm doing the same thing only with younger children.
ReplyDeleteThat is fantastic! I want to live there.
ReplyDeleteNow this is one I'd like to sign up for in my old age!! Wonder if there is a waiting list.
ReplyDeleteSweet...and the song is addictive.
What fun!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, that's awesome in a slightly creepy way. I'd like to go live there. I think. xoxo
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!!!! What a fun group of people. xx
ReplyDeleteGood for them, they do look happy.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful! It reminds me of a documentary I watched a few months ago about a chorus made up of older people who perform rock songs. It was so interesting. I watched it on Netflix (streaming) if you're interested.
ReplyDeleteHi Mari! You might have seen the video by P. Williams on my blog, I just love this song! And to see so many 'happy' seniors makes my day.
ReplyDeleteLove it!

Great song, and a truly awesome video! What a wonderful keepsake for the families of those residents. It looks like everyone had so much fun doing that. Thanks for sharing! Made me smile!

ReplyDeleteI think they were happy, happy, happy! They had fun doing the video and watching themselves in it too!
ReplyDeleteI've seen this before and each time it makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteEven if I am already having a good day it makes it brighter.
