PS...thanks for the lake ice response. I showed Bud the photos and he said he can't remember that much in the area either...except for sometime in the 40s.
Seeing the tire swing half way covered with snow, makes me think you havent gotten any of the warmer temps yet. Maybe it wont be long until it reaches you too.
I love this photo.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a lot of snow! Great picture showing just how deep it is.
ReplyDeleteLooks lonely!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat composition Mari.

ReplyDeleteGreat shot...I can't believe how deep the snow is for that tire to be buried half way.....I love the little pockets of snow on the tree..
ReplyDeleteNot much swinging going on in that backyard! No words necessary!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I like looking at your pictures. Blessings
ReplyDeleteOh, I feel bad for that tire swing, it's just waiting for summer and a playmate! It looks so sad...
ReplyDeleteAwww! Alaina will be swinging again soon. I hope. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Mari! I had to giggle a little! This photo just says it all about this winter, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteSo many lessons here though. Being spiritually stuck, unable to play, slogging through the snow...
This is a great meditation tool!

Not such a good time for tire-swinging, but a beautiful scene nonetheless. :)
ReplyDeletewow...that really puts the height of your snow into perspective!
