Earlier this week, I told you about the ice storm we had. We've also had record setting snow lately. We just had the 7th snowiest December on record. I'm hoping January is better!
Here's a short video taken on Christmas about 20 minutes from my house. You may recognize the pier and lighthouse that I often share in the summer.
Well we think we have winter down here in Oklahoma but we don't have it near as good as Michigan does.
ReplyDeleteNice video.
Beautiful, and I loved seeing the video, Mari, but oh my goodness it looks so cold!! I don't want to be in cold like that, ever again! Be safe up there in the cold, cold north!!
ReplyDeleteOh, that was fun! I love the speeding through the streets! haha. Beautiful snow!
ReplyDeleteThat was beautiful, great piano player as well. I'm so happy I watched it. Wow, those ice flows and water crashing on the pier, so cool.
ReplyDeleteCheri
That was great! I loved the ice on the pier. You people in MI really know how to enjoy the season.
ReplyDeleteAt first, the addition of the cheery music made it seem happy and fun... and then I came to my senses!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Mari, and to your Family, too!
oh so pretty. lovin' a white Christmas!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. It must be really cold there. I hope you don't have to be outdoors for very long.
ReplyDeleteDang!!! I'm freezin' here at the temp of 44 degrees. I can't imagine that lake ice like that!! Oh my goodness. Gotta go get Bud now to let him watch this as this town is where his mother grew up.
ReplyDeleteps...Bud just watched it and said "Gawd, I remember just how cold it was there!!" :o)
ReplyDeleteIt is cold. Sorry about the wordless Wednesday today. My days are all mixed up. Really I do have my mind, at least I think I do. lol
ReplyDeletePretty but too cold for me. It's a great video! Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeletetry to stay warm with this frost temps coming up next week!!
ReplyDeleteFor a minute there I thought the videographer had had too much sugar, LOL. And I'll say it again: I don't know how you do it!!!!! But I LOVE the red of the lighthouse against the gray thrashing water and white snow. Lovely. Stay warm, Mari.
ReplyDeleteGreat video... I really enjoyed it... but it made me feel colder. But cold or not I felt myself smiling the whole time..
ReplyDeleteIts so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat was great!!!! But as I'm always saying, glad it's there and not here :o)
ReplyDeleteCould you tell me what software program you use for your pictures as far as cropping, editing, etc. and will it work with Windows 7 Professional software. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. I was able to learn to down load from my photos to blogging and fb but don't have any editing features. Thanks for the help, if you can!
Brrr Mari!!! That looks way too cold. Happy New Year my friend. Hope all has been well. I miss catching up with you.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Oh my goodness! How does one live in that? My brother was up in Traverse City working until the week before Christmas. That Florida boy about froze to death!! :)
ReplyDeleteI've just returned to the UK from a warm a sunny AZ, and it's such a shock to the system. It isn't that cold here but still wet and very windy.
