We had such fun this weekend, enjoying our granddaughter Alaina overnight. I have a few pictures to share with you...
She has always loved our cat Oliver. He tolerates her very well, as evidenced in these pictures. She's now decided that it's not enough to just pet him; she picks him up and lugs him around, bestowing a kiss now and then. When she comes over, he spends a lot of time in the basement. :)
She and Bob were playing together, making faces and laughing and I got a few pictures.
"Who you looking at Grandpa?"
"Here, I'll share my string cheese with you."
Time spent with her is priceless!
Adorable! That's a truly wonderful age! Love her lugging Oliver---he is patient!:>)
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute! And growing up so fast! That is one nice cat...funny that he escapes to the basement to recover. ha.
ReplyDeleteAlaina is growing and changing. What cute photos and I love Oliver's tolerance of her!
ReplyDeleteMy grandkids all live far away. You are blessed and she is darling!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute and getting so big!! I've missed out on seeing pictures of her growing up. Thank goodness, Oliver is a very willing cat. :)
ReplyDeleteSo adorable, those photos really took me back. When my daughter Annie was the same age, she was much the same with my in-laws cat, Fritz. She went from petting him, to lugging him around, and trying to dress him in a bonnet like a baby doll.. which didn't quite pan out. He was a long suffering, sweet natured cat.
ReplyDeleteBlessed, blessed, loved child.
ReplyDeletePriceless indeed!! She is adorable (and so is Bob!)!!
ReplyDeleteMemories are made in times like that. She is adorable and I know you two enjoyed spending time with her.
ReplyDeleteOh my word- those are the cutest pictures! Nick was just looking at them and he even said- she is just so cute! I'm so impressed with Oliver- that is quite something!
ReplyDeleteAWE! Just precious! Btw, I love the color of your walls. Blessings
ReplyDeleteOh poor Oliver, I bet he heads off to the basement as soon as possible!
ReplyDeleteShe's one cute looking kid! And she's growing so fast!

ReplyDeleteShe is such a character! :) I almost feel sorry for Oliver, but not really -- my guess is he loves the attention... just not too much of it! Haha
ReplyDeleteShe is such a darling! I know that Alaina and her grandpa have a great time together.
ReplyDeleteOh gracious, how cute. Poor Oliver. Maybe you should rename him Sack of Potatoes.
