Beautiful...it makes us Americans want to stand up and proudly proclaim "My country"!!!
Sorry I didn't get around to visiting yesterday, but I'm now catching up. So, I viewed your post below this and wow.....what a storm, huh? Wish we had part of your rains. :::sigh:::
WAVE ACTION is my watery link. Do stop by if you have time. And, have a super Wednesday!!!
Love this, Mari. There's something so satisfying about seeing fields of hay bales. I think of all the work that went into the growing, cutting, baling. It's such a huge job.
"Cowboy take me away" - love that song by the Dixie Chicks and your photo is what I see in my mind when I hear that song...Love the "wide open spaces"!
I love the look of bales lying all over a field. We passed one last week in NW Ohio that was chock-full of them. I should've gotten a pic but I can enjoy yours!
I remember when the hay would lay loose in the fields and horses and a wagon would be used to pick it up. Hard work for our forfathers. (I guess this comment shows my age)
We saw many golden fields with these rolled bales on our trip home. (Also have many fields like this here.) There is something so beautiful about them....

Love this - lots of farmers wrap the bales in a white wrap. When Phil was little he called them marshmellows.
Very cool Mari! I have a picture from your trip our West that shows a beautiful hill in SD covered with those! They make me smile!
You make this city girl want to go see a farm :)

I'm still partial to the smaller bales. Brings me back to our childhood - watching Dad bale the hay Still love the smell

Lovely picture. We see this quite often around where we live. My husband prefers the square bales. Easier for an old man to handle..LOL
Beautiful pic. We have them all over here also.
Have a nice day.
