A day at the campground

Friday is sisters day. Terri, Cheri and I always try to get together for lunch and to spend some time together.
This past week, Terri was camping, and invited Cheri and I to come and spend Friday at the camp ground. It's a campground that we've all stayed at and we love it there!
Here's a few pictures from the day.

Halle (Cheri's) and Shaelyn (Terri's) had a great time in the pool!

The older kids were at the beach, and I took a walk in that direction. On the hill overlooking the beach, I found this swing, overlooking the lake. Doesn't it look like a peaceful place to sit?

The bluff overlooking Lake Michigan.

It was a hot, sunny day and the beach was full of swimmers and sunbathers. I love all that nice beach sand!

There is a gazebo on top of the bluff. The landscaping is beautiful!

Another view of the gazebo. They were setting up for a wedding on the lawn behind it.

Here's a view from inside that gazebo. I would love a view like that!

We had a great day together - thanks for having us Terri!

I think it's wonderful that you and your sisters are so close. The photos are great and that view, as well as the flowers, are beautiful beyond measure.

I love that you have sisters day!

when you were young, did you all come running when one was called with your names being so much alike?

Hi Mari Sweetie...
What a gorgeous share today. I loved walking the beach with you this evening. I could feel the breeze on my face and the water felt so refreshing. The sounds of laughter were so contagious. I love hearing the kids laugh as they play.

What a beautiful swing to set down in, and swing away the cares of the world. I so enjoyed myself sweet friend.

Thank you for taking me along. Many hugs and much love from Phoenix, Sherry

We are so privileged to have a place "to rest awhile" at aren't we. The flowers are beautiful every year and they have great programs there to as well. It is so nice that you sisters are so close. Not everyone has that joy.

I remember seeing this gazebo. It is so pretty with the flowers around it. No wonder they have weddings there. You had a beautiful day to enjoy your family, the beach, and the sun.
