What a difference a week makes. Last Sunday we had crazy weather; it was windy, cold and stormy.
This is the yard after one of the storms came through. This was the first hail storm of the day, another came through that night.
However - as the week went by, the weather got better!
And on Friday, I saw leaves appearing on the tree in the back yard!
And when I went to the front yard, the crocus were up.
By Saturday, the crocus were soaking up the sun, and on Sunday we hit 84 degrees!
This week we are supposed to be in the 50's and 60's - still sounds good. :)
Hooray for Spring, sunshine and flowers!
I couldn't agree with you more....hooray for Spring!! We even had to mow our lawn last week, a sure sign of spring around here!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Jane
I think that some of your warm weather is coming our way. At least I hope so. Your flowers are very pretty.
ReplyDeleteHurray indeed! All those golf balls of hail - nearly baseball sized in some areas! Wow! Great photos of approaching spring! Love the crocus!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you - Spring is here. Your photos are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBut unfortunately, we may have a rain and snow mix again next Sunday. Only in Michigan.....
ReplyDeleteLovely. Amazing how much difference there is in just one week. It's much the same here. Last week it was cold and everything seemed blah outdoors. This week Spring actually sprung and we have blossoms everywhere.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mari for this beautiful post... full of joy and beauty :)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are so good, of course, I love the flowers the most! I actually slept with the windows open last night..it felt so good!
ReplyDeleteCROCUS! Yay, springtime in Michigan! We've been having wild weather too. Seems the atmosphere is unstable of late. I hope it doesn't get cold for you anymore until summer's done and gone, Mari!
ReplyDeleteLots & lots of pretty flowers!
ReplyDeleteIt was sooo hot here this weekend... you'd have though we skipped several months & went straight to summer... it got up to 90 & that's very unusual for this early around here! =0
Hi Mari cam e by to say Hi. I like your photos
ReplyDeleteIt was a nice weekend here also. We hit 89 on Saturday and then a cold front came through and we dropped in the 60s, but by the end of the week they are calling for temps in the 30s for highs. I sure hope they are wrong and it don't freeze my tulips that are coming up.
ReplyDeleteI love your flowers.
Have a nice day
I added a photo of new do on my blog profile.

ReplyDeleteSpring sure is taking it's sweet time to unfold. But I'm sure we'll be pleased with the results when it finally gets here for good.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and for the birthday wishes!
We had hail today. Then we had sun. How strange the weather is. Your flower pictures are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite time of year!!!
ReplyDeleteGotta love that crazy Michigan weather :)
ReplyDeleteWe're about at the same place here as far as spring goes. This time of year is really unpredictable.
