Are you watching the Olympics?

We really enjoyed the opening exercises of the Olympics. Our friends in Canada did a great job! The way they changed that floor was really amazing. Our favorite part was when the ice turned to water, after which the whales swam through it.
As you can see Oliver is enjoying it too. He sat right in front of the tv and watched it for quite some time. He's such a funny cat!

  2. Oh, yes! So exciting. My dogs, however are not as interested as your kitty. So that's why cats are so smart!

  3. Just finished watching the Ice Skating and it's 11:15 and time to go to bed!!! Yes the opening ceremony was fantastic and the Canadians did themselves proud. We loved Canada when we were blessed to visit every single providance & the Yukon. Our favorite were the meritimes.

  4. What a cute photo!

Miss Daisy stops sometimes too to watch something on TV. Of course, she ALWAYS runs to the TV when she hears another dog bark. LOL

  7. It was an impressive show! I can tell that Oliver is a captive audience. My sons love hockey so they will be watching all the games that they can. Enjoy the Olympics!

  8. I'm not 'into' the olympics for winter tho....it's only the figure skating that really appeals to me.

That Oliver....what a cat! Gotta love it.

  9. Oliver cracks me up! We quit watching soon after the water effects. The music was just a little too much.

  14. That's such a cute picture!

Someone I know what in charge of the sound system for the Opening Ceremony and things done in that building. I babysat him when he was little and was his big sister's Nanny before that. He's been very excited about getting that contract and the job they did for the Olympics.

  19. We missed the opening, but have been pretty faithful viewers each night since. Having snow days and delays has helped the boys see more because they can stay up later and sleep in.

    Your cat is too funny!

  20. Oh my! Our foster puppy stared at the opening also! How cute. I really liked how they did the floor & the water & different things moving around on it. Amazing! I don't think anything can ever top China, but this one was pretty darn good.

  21. Yes we are watching the Olympics on TV, even though they are LIVE only 45 mins away!! ha ha AND I think it's amazing how there is still SOME snow up in the mountains still...Although I DID hear that they had to bring it in for some parts...Not sure if it was fake snow or not... I think its hilarious how they are having the WINTER olympics here when we practically didn't even have WINTER this year!! :))
