A few weeks ago I did a Slow Cooking Thursday Post where the recipe had instructions to use a Slow Cooker Liner. Several people asked about them, so I thought I would share them here.
These Slow Cooker liners are made by Reynolds and can be found in the grocery store with the paper products. You just put them in the Slow Cooker, then do your recipe as usual. When you are done, the liner can be thrown away and there is no clean up.
I don't use them often, but for things that make a mess or stick to the crock they are great. They also work well when camping, when doing dishes is more difficult.
These liners are made to fit a 3 to 6.5 quart Slow Cooker. They cost about $2.50 for a package of four.

Now I learned something from you, didn't know about liners for crocks. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI use my slow cooker a lot, but have never tried this. I'll be looking for them on my next grocery run for sure. Thanks Mari.

That's something I'm definitely going to look for in the store. Cleaning out the crock pot is one of the least favorite jobs at my house. We might use them all the time.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of these. They look fantastic !!
ReplyDeleteI love using those liners!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a good deal for the price, like you said, you may not use them every time, but there are times when they would be very handy.
ReplyDeleteI confess, I didn't know about them either!
I try many of your slow-cooker recipes so I will definitely buy some liners. I never heard of them until you wrote about them.
ReplyDeleteNever to old to learn a new trick!
Thanks
Mari,
ReplyDeleteI love learning about these today. It was a lot like when I learned parchment paper could save the non stick surface on my cookie sheets.
Anything to make messes easier to clean.

I use these all the time actually and you're right, they work great :)
ReplyDeleteMari,
ReplyDeleteI remember you mentioning these liners. I am going to look for them. They would be perfect when making spaghetti sauce and other messy recipes. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings,
Mary
