What a wonderful world!

I have always liked the old Louis Armstrong song, "What a Wonderful World".
"I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world."
I really enjoy taking walks and looking at the beauty that surrounds us. I am amazed over and over again at the many different types of beauty that God has given us to enjoy in this world. And isn't it amazing that our God, who created all of this, loves us and wants us to spend time with Him?
Here are a few pictures I've taken in the last few weeks of some of that beauty.

Sunrise on my way to work

.

Early morning light, shining through the trees

.

A cool morning, with mist rising off the pond.

"You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you."
Nehemiah 9:6

Even as a small child I loved Louis Armstrong and the other great singers of that time frame. It’s a wonderful world has always been a favorite of mine.
