You probably all know that I am not a lover of cold and snow. I hate driving on bad roads and I feel like I spend the winter bundled up and never really warm (except at work where the temperature hovers between 76 and 78!)
I am not immune to the beauty of winter though. I've been having fun with a new blog this year. I noticed some others who were starting a blog where you take a picture every day and post it. I thought it sounded fun and easy to do. I started taking pictures and posting them to my 365 days blog. I've discovered a benefit to this. I'm always looking for things to take pictures of and because of that I see the beauty in things quicker than I did before, even when it's snow!
I thought I would share a few of my favorite winter pictures with you. It's also good to remind myself to enjoy the snow because we are supposed to be getting a big storm on Wednesday and Thursday!

Wonderful pictures! Snow is so beautiful, as long as I don't have to go out in it and can enjoy it from inside. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest snowman I've ever seen! Love it! We'd have to use all the snow in our entire yard to get one half that size - were we to GET any snow, which is looking unlikely now for the second year in a row. My poor, poor kids. :(
ReplyDeleteSo - enjoy it for all of us. It won't be long now!
Mari,
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of winter, but do love the snow and ice on the trees. Hoar frost is beautiful and I see you were able to get a good shot of it in the last photo.
I had not heard we were to get a big snow storm, but if you are, we probably are too. I will be checking the seven day forecast.
Have a great week, my friend.
Blessings,
Mary
It is beautiful! Cold, but beautiful! I think I've had enough! Do you think that matters! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your snow pictures very much Mari! I especially like the big old snowman :)
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome day!
Kathi :)
When we make a commitment to something, suddenly everywhere we look we "see" something. Your camera is proof of that.
ReplyDeleteSusan
NOOOOOOO- I didn't know we were supposed to get a storm later this week.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures- the snowman is really cute!
I love seeing all of the snow in pictures...it is beautiful. But I'm glad I live way down south...we were wearing shorts just a few days ago. Although it is cooling off again this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, Mari. I hate the cold and winter. Moving from PA to GA 2 yrs ago was like moving to Paradise where the weather is concerned. I've even eaten out on our deck 2x's this mo. already! (Today we're back to our cold 50)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to check out your other blog - didn't know about it.
Very beautiful winter pictures!! I am a Florida girl myself and sometimes the cold really gets to me!!! About now I start yearning for Florida and can't wait for spring lol..
ReplyDeleteI admit I am ready for warmer weather, but I do love winter. Your pictures are great- love the snowman, looks like he's melting
ReplyDeleteI love the snow, as long as I don't have to go anywhere in it. Same goes for rain. Makes me want to cuddle up with a blanket, cocoa, and a book!
ReplyDeleteI love the snow pictures and especially the big ole snowman! How neat!
ReplyDeleteI hope the snow storm by-passes you this weekend. Enough is enough.
I want to see snow!!!
