Wreath Making Night

Every year Bob's sisters invite a bunch of people over for a wreath making night. We bring wreath frames, wire, clippers and any extras we want for our wreaths. They trim bushes and trees, and collect dried flowers, grasses and anything else they think will look nice. Then they let us all into their basement for a fun filled evening! I have pictures of just a few of the ladies who were lucky enough to come.

Here are my sister Cheri, daughter Heather and sister in law Bonnie hard at work.

.

My daughter Laura is really studying what to put on her wreath.

.

My friend Nancy with her sister Carol. Nancy is holding her finished project.

Heather made a small wreath for her bedroom door.

.

We had a special guest this year. This is Bob's first great niece who is his oldest nephews daughter. Tierney is 9 weeks old. Isn't she cute?

If having all these people over wasn't enough, Karla and Diane feed us too! Along with this table, was another table with soup and sandwiches. It was delicious.

Here is my wreath, all done and hanging on my front door. Thanks Karla and Diane! We had a great time as usual!

Thanks so much for taking up the baking challenge. I'm sure whoever you choose will be thrilled that you were thinking of them.

  32. Looks like a great time. Beautiful wreaths.

I've been meaning to e-mail you and let you know I got my snowman.

It was a surprise when I got home and saw the box. I had no idea what was in a box for me and the snowman never entered my mind. I pulled the wood carving out and squealed. Chuck wondered what the heck was going on.

Everyone thinks it is so cute- but the girls are only allowed to look, not touch. ;)
