Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!

The picture above shows the way we are feeling at my workplace. You may remember this post I did about the state survey we had. Well - we had our follow up survey and were cleared of any problems. We have learned what to do with banana peels and how many napkins a person needs! Needless to say, we are all very happy to be done for another year. Our inspector this time was very thorough but also very pleasant which was wonderful! After she gave her report she actually came out and told the staff that this was a good place and we were doing a good job. And that is why we are doing the happy dance!

You may also remember this post in which I asked for your help in what to do with my Dining room wall. The picture above is the one I asked for help with. Below is the same grouping after I followed your advice. Thanks for your help. I like the final outcome!

  3. So glad that you are finally done with the inspectors for the year. Maybe there is money to be made in doing seminars on what to do with banana peels and how many napkins to give out. That was really just so crazy.

LOVE how the wall turned out!

  10. I remember the first inspection... so glad to hear you are through with everything for another year and moreso that you passed with flying colors. That's wonderful.

I LOVE the wall. I missed the first post where you asked for help. I wouldn't have been any help however. I have NO interior design skills whatsoever. You did a great job!! And the branches make a huge difference.

On a personal note.. I have the same clock. It's in my living room. I got it at Target. Unfortunately, it fell the first day I put it up and the glass shattered. I still have it on the wall without the glass... funny huh?

  15. After all that you went through with the inspections, there is nothing like the feeling of getting the big OK! Congrats to you and everyone you work with.
Love the new arrangement, isn't it something how just a tiny bit of tweaking can make it "just right"? It's usually that tiny bit of tweaking I drive my self nuts over!

  22. That happy dance picture is so hilarious! My sister Doris, who is Activities Director at a retirement home is facing inspection this month in addition to many other things going on in her life (including her husband being laid off from work). I hope she'll be doing that happy dance a month from now.
