Fireproof

Bob and I went to see the movie "Fireproof" on Wednesday night. It is put out by the same people who did "Facing the Giants" a few years ago. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you make time to go. I will admit that sometimes the acting isn't the best, but the story line and the morals in it are great. I was surprised to hear the message they are giving on the big screen. I'm sure you won't regret seeing it.
If you would like to see a preview of the movie, click here.
There is a book out now called "The Love Dare" which is something that is talked about in the movie. Chelle, from the World of Chelle is doing it and welcomes anyone else to join her.
If you've seen it, let me know what you thought.

  4. I don't think this has come to Canada yet. And I'm not sure I've seen the preview, but it sounds like my kind of movie! I see what you mean about the "acting" from watching the preview...haha, but the moral of the story seems RIGHT ON! Looks like a good sit down at home movie...

  5. I haven't seen it, but I heard some of the people who produced it being interviewed on the Family Life radio program last week. Some of the stories of God's provision as they made the movie were really awesome and lifted my faith.

  7. Mari,

I haven't seen the movie. Right now we have no movie theater in our town. They tore the old one down to build a new one and it isn't completed yet. I really want to see this badly.

Take care, my friend. I hope you enjoyed your getaway. Ours was great and I have some of day two's photos posted.

    Blessings,
    Mary
