Works for me Wednesday

It's Works for me Wednesday time again. This year I received a Go Duster for Christmas. I had seen advertisements for it and although I am usually quite skeptical of these ads, I thought it looked like it would work, so I put it on my list. I have to say, it really does work. I have used it for lamps, dining room chairs (it works well between the spindles), picture frames, the TV. One thing it really worked well on was the dashboard on my van. I always had a hard time getting back near the windshield, But when I used this, the dashboard and the whole steering wheel and column was dust free in a few minutes. It has a small head that can be used for electronics, like a computer keyboard. It spins but is very gentle and doesn't seem to dislodge anything but the dust.

These are available at Walgreen's for about $15, and it really does work for me. If you want to check out other tips or ideas, visit Shannon at Rocks in my Dryer.

  1. i've seen that advertised here too ... and i wondered about it ... i could use that, cause dusting is not my thing - so if it was fun to do, i might do it more often!

  2. Thanks Mari, I'll have to get me one. Especially for the car desk and those pesky chair spindles. I hate to dust them and you can tell! YIKES!

  3. It kinda reminds me of those old electric shoe shiners - you know the kind with the red side and the blue side that spin around and you just put your foot (in your shoe) up to each side and PRESTO, shined shoes? Man, I wonder if my grandaddy still has his?

I need one of those. I just dusted my kitchen chairs yesterday and thought, "There MUST be an easier way."

Thanks for the tip. Walgreen's here I come.

  4. I wondered how this worked for you. Since I'm not the duster in my family, I'm sure the girls would love it. Should that be a birthday gift for the 2 of them?

  10. Mari,

I believe in letting my dust live. My home is a dust habitat. I haven't had to work very hard at all to make it that way, so I will pass on the dust mitt...hee hee

If you get a chance, check out my blog later tonight (California time!). I am going to try and post something just for you!

    Love, Joanne
