I was an adult visiting friends in Texas the first time I saw fireflies. It was fascinating. The only other time I saw them was on our mission trip to Haiti. Love Calvin and Hobbs. Sue
LOL! That truly made me laugh out loud because when our kids were growing up, they heard the whole "building your character" routine. It got to the point that Matt would say, "Yeah, Mom, I know. It's going to build my character." And he was probably about five or six at the time. lol
Very cute! Once kids find out something is good for them, they don't like it anymore
ReplyDeleteThis one made me smile and giggle. I still like watching fireflies at night. Janice
ReplyDeleteCalvin and Hobbes is my favorite printed cartoon. His antics remind me of my childhood. Have a blessed day! 💖
ReplyDeleteSO true...
ReplyDeleteAnd now I'm feverishly trying to find more gadgets to tempt you with...Lolol (evil sounding laugh)
Big hug
Donna

Love it but I had to look what fireflies, but now I have one more word in my vocabulary 😂
ReplyDeleteCute. We called them lightning bugs and used to catch them all the time.
