Friday was Heather and Andrew's 10th anniversary! We watched the kids while they went out for supper.
But Connor decided he wasn't too happy with us. Poor little guy!
And worse than that - Andew wasn't feeling the best so they weren't gone long.
Hopefully the next time they come over, everyone feels better!
Connor will come around. I remember when Cassie was so scared to stay overnight with you. I do see a resemblance between them, too.
ReplyDeleteThe last picture is priceless and will be a memory in the years to come. At least Cassie enjoyed herself. I remember when she cried whenever she came over to your house a few years ago. You and Bob are awesome grandparents. I hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sad face. It's hard to get used to new people, even if they are your family and you see them all the time. What cute little faces, though.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a bittersweet evening—fun moments with Cassie but a tough time for little Connor. Hopefully, next time he feels more comfortable, and Andrew is feeling better too. It’s always nice when parents can get a little break, even if it’s short!
ReplyDeleteAww, sweet baby! They're funny, how they can be so particular. Some of my grandchildren have been like this, he'll come around. Cassie sure did! It's nice of you guys to babysit so mom and dad can get out...:)
ReplyDeletePoor little Connor....He is a cutie, but it's just a stage he is going through. Cassie sure seems to be enjoying the legos...These things can entertain kids for hours. Sure hope Andrew is feeling better and that you all do not have the flu bug going around...Your grands are adorable...
ReplyDeleteAwe - so sweet. I remember that stage - they just want mom and dad. Happy anniversary to Heather and Andrew. Cassie knows how special you are and she is a doll.
ReplyDeletemy kids are sick with RVS and ended up at urgent care, hope Andrew is not sick with any of the current things that are going around. Poor little guy, hope he gets over his frights soon..
ReplyDeleteIt wasn’t that long ago that Cassie wouldn’t spend the night. Poor little sweetie. You hate to see them get so upset; wondering what is going through their little minds to make them so scared. Little exposures are best for a time.
ReplyDeleteCassie is cute and sure enjoys the legos. Actually I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a child who doesn’t!
What cuties, both of them. Smiling or not, they are precious! And seeing the legos on the floor made me so happy. I loved legos when I was little. Then when my kids got old enough for them, I noticed they came in sets that you built. I missed the creativity of just dumping them out and building whatever you wanted. I wish I had saved mine! Have a cozy day, my friend!
ReplyDeletePoor sweet Connor. Glad that Cassie enjoyed herself though.
ReplyDeleteThey are SO adorable and you can sure tell they are related. 😍 I remember when Cassie had such troubles staying over...it'll just be a matter of time until Connor will be happy as can be too. But I hope poor Mom & Dad get an anniversary redo since he wasn't feeling well besides. Lol Love how you folks love your family :)
ReplyDeleteSweet post, even with the sad face on Connor.
ReplyDeleteAww, poor little guy. The pictures are so sweet. There's no mistaking that Connor and Cassie are related. I agree, hopefully everybody feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteIt will take a bit, but Connor will want to come over all of the time. We dont have a Dominos by us. Just Jets and Hungry Howie's. Is it good? Too bad Andrew was under the weather too. Happy Anniversary to them though. Janice
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad, but he'll come around just like Cassie did.
ReplyDeleteAwww...Connor will get used to you both.
ReplyDeleteAww, bless it! I hope everyone is feeling better soon. Cassie looks very happy with her pizza! Such a cute smile!
ReplyDelete(((hugs))) for Connor. Such a sweetheart. And Cassie has certainly grown up and I'm sure is a wonderful big sister! Babies do go through those stages...I'm sure he'll get over his fear soon and will LOVE being with Grandpa and Grandma all the time!! The grow up so fast.
ReplyDeleteAw...sweet baby. So many stages. I remember when Cassie was a little shy and look at her now!!
ReplyDeleteAww ... sweet pictures.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary to Heather and Andrew.
All the best Jan
They do look a lot alike! So adorable even when crying!
ReplyDeleteAww, he's such a cutie==even when he's crying.
ReplyDeleteIn the top/happy picture he looks very much like Cassie.
He will grow out of that soon. Bless his little heart! xo
ReplyDeleteAwe, we have had grandbabies that were shy of us, but they came out of it. What sweetie pies, both of them.
ReplyDeleteCasssiieeee! I am so proud of her for overcoming her fears of staying away from her parrots for a night, but now apparently it is Connor's turn! But that's okay; in fact it's a good thing that he is so close to his mom and dad. Precious boy! He looks so much like Cassie, it's truly amazing! But same mom, same dad, so I guess it makes sense 😂 ... It is hard for me to believe that it has been ten years since Heather and Andrew's wedding! Like whaaaaat? I remember distinctly when you told me that your Heather had a beau! The years just fly by and what a beautiful family they are. I hope Andrew is feeling much better by now! xoxo
