I'm overdue at sharing this, due to my vacation, so forgive me!
I have to show you the sweet package I got from my friend Catherine at My Home and Garden. Catherine sent this package with goodies for us, and some fun things for Cassie all the way from France!
There was a beautiful little scrapbook and handmade gift tags along with lots of french treats that we are still eating
Then there was a gift bag for Cassie. We had her open it when she came trick or treating (I told you this was late!), so that's why she's in costume in these pictures.
Looking at a painting kit
And now, one more blog friend who sent me something sweet.
Thanks to both of them, and also to the rest of you who sent cards and notes to congratulate me. Our blogging community really is a thoughtful group and a blessing!
Such wonderful gifts. And such cute little tigers!
ReplyDeleteBloggers are some of the nicest and kindest people I have NEVER met! I have some wonderful blogging friends, including YOU! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI assume you have four grands - they are all cute. I loved Tiger myself through the years. I also love those chocolate covered apples. You have some wonderful blog friends.
ReplyDeleteMan! What kind of a grump gives out potatoes on Halloween 🫤
ReplyDeleteYou are so beloved everywhere!!! What a blessing you must be to others. AND...a POTATO; REALLY??
ReplyDeleteAww! Such awesome gifts! Your babies are all adorable!!

It's wonderful to see the kids happy and smiling. Cassie's growing like a weed. *giggle* Those are the cutest tigers around! Wonderful gifts. 🤗
ReplyDeleteCute little tigers and how nice of your blog friends to send you such nice gifts! I can't believe someone gave the girls a potato for Halloween! Maybe they ran out of candy before the girls got there but really? A quarter or something would have been good enough!
ReplyDeleteYour grands are adorable and that potato is a funny treat but I would have been happy with it!! A baked potato is delicious and it won't melt before being baked!! LOL Great gifts, Mari!! I am so glad you are being celebrated!! xo
ReplyDeleteConnor is very cute in his tiger suit! He is growing fast. Now you have lots of goodies to eat 😂 now that you are retired!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your free time. Nice to see the girls.
Conner looks like Cassie in that photo - the eyes! Wow what a nice gift for Cassie and all the way from France. You did well yourself from your thoughtful friends. That truly is special.
ReplyDeleteThe potato is unusual or is that a tradition? I’ve not ever seen that before.
I hope you have an awesome Thanksgiving week.
Those grandkids are awesome, my friend! And love the love you have received! Well deserved!!! Have a cozy week!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun pictures of your little grands.

Love the French goodies! And I"m so glad you got the other basket safe and sound. You are such a blessing dear Mari and I'm so grateful for this blogland of ours and for your friendship! You and Bob deserve the sweet life now and just wanted to express those wishes...well literally. 😂
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're sharing too! Lol Blessings on your Thanksgiving ahead. So thankful for you! xoxo
I'm smiling at those adorable little tigers. I'm also laughing at the potato. Can't say I've ever seen that given out on Halloween before.
ReplyDeleteWhat nice and thoughtful gifts you have received. There are so many wonderful people in the blog community.
What fabulous gifts, and yummy besides. Love the photos of Cassie and Connor.

How nice to receive all those special gifts. The little tigers are adorable.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Such wonderful and thoughtful, fun gifts! That was really really sweet of your friends to send those things. And I love the photos of the grandchildren. Cassie and Connor in their cute Tigger and Tiger costumes are adorable. And the other two girls are so cute. A potato for trick or treating? Sounds like a trick to me, but then again, it's a healthy alternative to candy! What fun!
ReplyDeletecute cute tigers and all of your grandkids are so adorable. This is so nice of your two blogging friends...I love this!! lol...I laughed at the potato that the girls got...I know they did too....
ReplyDeleteHow sweet.
