Spring is here!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  For me, that's Spring.  After a long, cold winter, sunshine and warm temps are so welcome.  Seeing the spring flowers, buds and leaves begin to pop is a happy sight.
We don't have too many yet, but they are starting.

The forsythia is full of flowers.

The hosta are popping up and we can see the change in them each day.

Pansies are such cheerful little flowers.

These are Grecian Wind Flowers.  They are small; 1 - 1 1/2 inches across.  But they grow close together and and create a brilliant purple carpet.

The snowball bush has tiny little flower heads popping out,

and the dogwood blooms are starting to open.

On the front porch, Bob has taken our glider chairs out of the barn where they were stored for the winter.  We're looking forward to spending time on the porch, enjoying the next few seasons.

  3. Such pretty flowers and shrubs we have here in our state. My own Bob has been cleaning up our back yard getting it ready for some major BBQ's again. We like to sit outside and eat dinner. Cannot wait to start that again once the temps get a little better. Janice

For us winter is back! Cold and frost is the weather we are having, quite cold after 25 C two weeks ago, Summer weather.
