Alaina and Ruby spent the night last Friday. It was a nice day and we even got to spend some time outside.
A friend from my work had given them some glow sticks and they had fun with them.
The next day we did a fun and easy craft, making woolly sheep.
I painted the squeeze part of some clip clothespins black. You need 2 clothespins per sheep. Then I cut out a kidney shaped piece of cardboard or posterboard. (I used paper plates)
Add a white dot to the face for an eye.
Here's our finished sheep!
Those are sooooo cute! I am wondering where you get all the fun and creative craft ideas! You always do such fun things with your girlies! I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThe sheep are adorable!!!! I have made similar ones, but using cotton balls instead of yarn. The glow sticks make great necklaces!
ReplyDeleteY’all always do the cutest crafts! 😍 I absolutely love this one! Glad y’all had a fun weekend!

Those girls are so sweet, and the sheep, love them. I think maybe I'll try them for our activity club group. (You are a very nice grandma1!!, the best kind!)
ReplyDeleteI don't know who is sweeter, you sheep or your darling grandgirls. They're getting so big and beautiful! How lucky you are to be such a big part of their lives.
ReplyDeleteI remember playing with glow sticks too. They were (and are) such fun. The wooly sheep are so cute. I watched that video on YouTube and thought of y'all. Glad you got to make 'em. They look great.
