The recipe I'm sharing today is a little different, but might be something you can use this time of year.
This is a Chai Tea mix that we really enjoy. I'm not a coffee or tea drinker, but this is so good! I made it last year as a little gift for family members and some friends. This year I made it for the other managers at work. So, if you're looking for a fun little gift, this is a good one.
Chai Tea
2 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger2 teaspoons ground cinnamon3/4 teaspoon ground cloves3/4 teaspoon ground cardamom, optional1 teaspoon ground allspice1 teaspoon ground nutmeg1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper1 1/2 cups unsweetened instant tea, regular or decaf, a powdered mix that's sometimes called "unsweetened iced tea"1 3/4 cups sugar1 cup nonfat dry milk powder1 cup powdered nondairy creamer1 cup French vanilla-flavored powdered nondairy creamer
Measure all dry ingredients into a blender
or food processor. Pulse or puree until well-combined and mixture
becomes a fine powder. Transfer to an air-tight jar or container or
spoon into gift jars.To make the tea stir 2 heaping tablespoons of mix into a mug of boiling water. Makes 6 cups mix
I put my mix jars into kraft bags, attached cute labels, tied on with christmas cording and bells.
Oooh that is lovely
ReplyDeletewhat a perfect gift this would make. Warmth and comfort in a jar.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for gifting! I too am not a coffee drinker. I think you & I are the only ones in blogville!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful gift and so cute too.
ReplyDeleteSounds and looks awesome! Thanks! Saving this!
ReplyDeleteA great gift! I was thinking of making some Russian tea as a gift this year...a throw back to the 70s and 80s.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I have some lady friends that would love this. And homemade gifts are the best.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so delicious and would make such a nice gift. You do the neatest things. Oh, your Christmas decorations are just beautiful. I've been looking back at your last two posts. I love the Santas your husband carved. Those are really special.
ReplyDeleteI always love all that you share in recipes and your beautiful home. Sorry I'm later in catch up. What I thought was arthritis flare up I think was the start of full body aches that kicked in this week and many other symptoms. I've been pretty miserable and still waiting on test results. Definitely either a flu or covid itself. Stay well! xo
