We had a baby shower for Heather this weekend. The baby isn't due until January, but with winter and holidays coming up, we thought we would beat crazy schedules this way.
This shower was from my family. My sisters and I always work together for these, no matter whose kid it is for. It makes it easier, and more fun too!
There was lots of pink, including this raspberry punch that Cheri made, with edible gold hearts in it!
Fruit kebobs with fruit dip, strawberry bread, chicken salad croissants and and pink cheesecake desserts. Yum!
We don't have a big group - my step mom, 2 sisters, 3 nieces and 2 daughters, but we had enough!
The guest of honor!
This baby is loved by her aunt and also the rest of us!
Good times with family, good food, lots of laughs!
Wow, the decorations are so cute! And the PUNCH!! I have never seen anything like it. An awesome shower.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like an awesome baby shower. The pink punch looks yummy. The little baby is so fortunate to have so many loving aunties and family members in her life welcoming her even before she arrives. xx
ReplyDeleteHeather looks beautiful. Looks like a fun shower. Such an exciting time, Mildred
ReplyDeleteHow sweet is this?! You all were wise to hold the shower before the holidays, I think.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea to have the shower early. It looks like it turned out really nice!

ReplyDeleteI love everything about this! All the food and decorations and your adorable mother-to-be Heather! I remember when I flew down to Florida for Lisa's baby shower. I think I flew down one day and back home the next! But I was there for the shower!

Heather looks like you. :) Baby showers are very much an American thing, but I've noticed the trend is taking off here in the UK too. Looks like a lovely time was had by all. That baby is going to be loved so much.
