Spring Drive

Saturday was a beautiful day here in West Michigan.  Bob was at work, and when I got some things done at home, I decided to take a little drive to see what Spring was looking like in the countryside.

The dogwoods are blooming!

We've had a lot of rain lately, and some roads were flooded

The dogwoods are so pretty.

I so enjoy that airy look of trees as they are just beginning to bud.

The beauty of nature reminds me of God's majesty and goodness. He is so good to give us this to enjoy, and He doesn't just give us one scene.  It changes with the seasons, each beautiful in their own way.

  4. Oh wow beautiful, Mari. We had a hard freeze here last night...I haven't ventured out yet this morning to check though about the plants or trees.

  7. We have gotten into the habit of taking a drive most afternoons when we have nothing else to do. We really enjoy them and just getting out of the house is nice. Love seeing your view in Michigan.

  11. Your area is a little ahead of here. We have just the tiniest bit of buds on just some of the trees. And amen to God's amazing goodness...if we just look - it's everywhere. 😊 ❤️

  12. It amazes me every year when your dogwoods bloom ... ours are a VERY distant memory! I think we get a fair amount of seasonal beauty here, but it's just so much more short-lived. The winter was so warm, crocuses were up in February. Gorgeous drive and pictures. xoxo
