It's Christmas program time!

I think schools all over are very busy right now; band concerts, choir concerts, Christmas programs!  I love the Christmas programs with the little kids.  They are so excited to do their part, and even if everything doesn't go as planned, it's still cute!
We had Alaina's program last Thursday night.

Here's all the 1st and 2nd graders ready to start.

They sang and danced to Rudolph, with all of them wearing red antlers.  So cute!

Another song they did was "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth".  Very fitting for this age.
We thought it was a really cute program.

This year we also got to go to a preschool program for Ruby. Her program was Monday night.

Here she is, looking cute but serious while lining up on the stands.

But then - she saw her family!  Love that smile!

A little wave for her fans.

 Here's the whole group.

Singing and smiling!

We sure enjoyed seeing both of them!

  3. Our Grands had Christmas programs too but we didn’t go. Sounds terrible but I struggle with keeping up with all that I need to do to help get the ones I live with to where they need to be on a regular basis. Not sure, but living with kids takes a special amount of energy I think ;-) I wouldn’t trade this for anything though!
Your little girls are just so adorable! Love the wave!

  4. The children's programs are always so special at Christmas, and those little girls are just darling. I love the grin on Ruby's face when she saw family, and their dresses are so pretty.

  5. The real meaning of Christmas being unmentionable in public schools these days, I was glad to see the silhouette of a manger scene in Ruby's program. I love Christmas not for the secular, but for the sacred. Thank God He sent that beautiful Baby to redeem us all. xoxo

Happy for you to be able to support them and see their programs... that's wonderful!

  9. The girls look so sweet! The little boy beside Ruby who has the red hair is sooo cute! He reminds me of Alfalfa. It looks like he may have a crush on Ruby and who wouldn't? She is a doll!
