Trick or Treat!

I have to share a few pictures of Alaina and Ruby trick or treating.  Laura made them the cutest costumes this year.  They were peacocks!

Don't they look cute?

Each little eye is made of felt, and there are sequins running up each section above the eye.

Here's Alaina... (The mask is made of felt too)

And here is Ruby.

And here's Ruby after discovering she could get candy by dressing up and knocking on a door.  Laura said they were going to have to explain that she couldn't do it again the next day.  :)
They had such fun!

  5. Hands (and beaks) down, those are the best (and most beautiful) costumes I've seen in a long time. That Laura! What a gifted young woman. A chip off the old block, as it were. The girls (as always) looked absolutely darling. Now I want to be a peacock. Chop chop on my costume, Laura. xoxo

  10. I'm glad they turned out, because they were more work than I bargained for! I told them both they'll be peacocks again next year!

And I would absolutely love to make Jenny her own peacock costume! :) Maybe she and Dagny can have matching ones next year!
