Greenhouse visit

Last weekend when the girls spent the night, we made a stop at the big Greenhouse near us.  I've posted about this place before as I visit it every Spring to get hanging baskets and pots.
We've taken the girls here before, and they always enjoy it because there is a playground on the grounds.

It had been raining so we told them they could go in the train, but the rest was too wet.

They had fun running through the different train cars.

The greenhouse is much emptier than it was this Spring, but there were still lots of plants for Bob to look at, and this time of year they are on sale!  He found some, and then we checked out some of the other things that the girls love to look at.  They have lots of statues and topiaries to look at.

The girls used up a lot of energy checking all these fun things out!

  1. What a fun place to visit and spend some energy (and cash!). Those animals are pretty amazing! Especially the giraffe! The girls are so cute and the matching outfits are adorable!

  4. Now, that's quite the greenhouse! I love all of the statues and topiaries. Of course, those sweet little granddaughters are the main attraction. :) Glad Bob found some good buys!

  6. Such a fun day for those precious girls! In some of the pics, it looks like Ruby is catching up in height to Alaina!

(I kind of miss Ruby's cute hair when she was more little) :)
