Weekend fun!

We had the girlies over on Friday night.  It was a beautiful weekend and we enjoyed some time outside on Friday evening.

First time on the swingset this year!

A pretty night in the back yard.

This scooter was one our kids played with, and Alaina had fun trying it out.

Ruby was riding the trike which probably isn't going to last long because she's growing fast!

They discovered a bunch of ant hills in the yard and Bob was giving them a little lesson on ants.  :)

After playing outside for a little while longer, we came in and watched a Despicable Me - Minion movie.

The next morning, they were up bright and early!  They watched a cartoon and then got ready for the day.

We did some work around the house and baked some bars for Grandpa. They love helping with baking.  Then we ran a few errands, and went to McDonalds for lunch.

One of our stops was the dollar store where they both picked out a package of jewelry.

After this we worked on a craft project that I will show you later, but they had great fun doing it! Then it was time to go home, but we had a few stops to make on the way there.

We were going to stop at my Dad and stepmoms house, and we stopped at a store nearby to get a flower for Ann for Mother's Day.  The girls had fun picking something out.  They had to stop and smell the flowers on this tree in the parking lot.

When we got to great grandpa's house they had to smell his flowers too!

They were happy to see the swing back on the porch after the long winter.  We had a nice little visit and then took the girls back to their house.

By the time I got home, Bob was home from work, so it was a full day, but I sure do love spending time with them!
