We were welcomed by this cute sign.
The tables were decorated simply, but it looked so nice!
Our brunch was very good, and was decorated with kids books scattered throughout.
There were lots of cute gifts to open. One is having a boy, the other a girls, so there was an abundance of both colors!
This was a fun way for women of all ages to mingle!
Here's the whole group before we went home.
And here's the moms, along with the 3 ladies who did all the planning and preparation.
"Children are a gift of the Lord"
Psalm 127:3
So much fun and what a blessing for the moms!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a wonderful party in every way. I'm sure the expectant mom's were very happy . The food table looks absolutely delicious.
ReplyDeleteSuch heartwarming photos. A real blessing for these mothers to be.
ReplyDeleteYour little granddaughters might enjoy the Piper Periwinkle books - I just love the illustrations!
I love showers of all kinds...such a happy time for family and friends.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful ministry of your church and I know the two 'mothers to be' were happy with all of it. The food looked delicious and the many gifts tell the story for sure.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great day! That sounds like a lovely ministry.
ReplyDeleteOh, what fun! The expectant mothers are radiant :) And the decorations are lovely.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you, dear Mari!
Best wishes to you all. Good health and happiness.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
So wonderful, and a very nice gesture. I know that ladies really appreciated it, Mari.

food looks good, with lots of fun and happy faces.
ReplyDeleteThere was such a good turn out for the showers...and both moms look so happy. I'm sure the gifts were a blessing to both of the moms and the food looked so yummy! I love the book idea for decorations. When our niece was honored with a baby shower last year we were asked to bring a children's book so that she would have a head start on a baby library. :-) Loved that idea...but guess who forgot to take a book!
ReplyDeleteIt is meaningful to honor moms-to-be like that. Love the children's books for table theme!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely thing to do for the moms to be! It looks like a lot of women turned up to the event too!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are lovely Mari. We've had three baby showers in about 6 weeks (mind you, one was for an adoption of 2 children)so it's obviously baby shower time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice idea and a great way to support new moms. I love the Bellies and Brunch theme:)
ReplyDelete"Bellies and Brunch" is a cute theme. What a nice gesture from your church!
