I got another special gift for Christmas that I want to share with you.
Our daughter Heather has been making jewelry for some time, but she has just recently started stamping it. I was thrilled to get a necklace from her.
Here's the necklace which is pretty, just as it is.
But, when you lift the filigree part, it says "trust in the Lord".
It's a pretty necklace, but it's even more special with the saying, and because Heather made it!
Does she have an Etsy shop? That is really beautiful!! Such creativity... the genes run strong!!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. I just purchased 2 stamped necklaces for friends from a well known jewellery designer. It's great your daughter makes them herself and they are special gifts to give someone.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and I know you treasure this!
ReplyDeleteI love handmade gifts. It's really neat how it's like a hidden message. Very pretty.

ReplyDeletethe necklace is beautiful and what a talent she your daughter has.
Happy New Year and stay warm.
Hi Mari! I am a bit of a 'jewelry junkie' myself, so I LOVE this piece. You're so right to say it's special because of who made it, but that little affirmation makes it so much more beautiful. That's something to cherish for years to come.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!

So lovely, Mari. Heather did a very nice job with the stamping. I have a friend at church who did one for me and it is one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. xx
ReplyDeleteMari, it is beautiful! Temporary heat wave here too...what a fun perspective for winter!
ReplyDeleteTruly beautiful. I'm going to tell Erica about this; she loves to make jewelry and stamping it is awesome. Good job, Heather. xoxo
