The day was sunny, but cold and windy.
Here we are at the mall. At this point we had already been to 2 other stores already.
We had a lunch break at Panera Bread in the mall. I have a yummy tomato mozzarella basil grilled sandwich.
Here's how my trunk was looking after the mall. We still had shopping to do, but there was room in the back seat.
More stores to visit... When there are 3 of you, 9 kids, 4 in-laws and 2 grandkids, it means a lot of shopping!
We have a local Italian restaurant that we eat supper at each year. It was as good as usual!
After eating supper, we made a few more stops and headed to the hotel.
Finally it was back to the hotel, hauling all our stuff in with us. These are Cheri's and my bags. We haul them all in, then sort through them, and make sure we have what we think we have.
Here's Terri and Cheri, sorting away.
After all that we treat ourselves to a piece of dessert, and then finish the night talking and laughing.
We had so much fun again this year, and - my shopping is about done!
My parents collect their presents for us throughout the year. Your way is much better though!
ReplyDeleteI like this idea and the good thing is you get to visit with your sweet sisters. xx
ReplyDelete{{{Big Smiles}}} you are so brave to Christmas shop so early, giggling. Have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun tradition! And to think of all that you were able to accomplish while having fun!
ReplyDeleteHow fun...And that cake...oh my goodness. I wish I could have a bite!!
ReplyDeleteI just love reading about your shopping trip each year. It makes me want to go find a couple of sisters to adopt, just so I can do this! This seems so efficient. I feel like I shop all season long and it's such a chore. Do you make a list beforehand, so you are shopping for specific things?
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're close to your sisters, Mari. It always looks like you have a nice time together. Your Panera sandwich is one of my favorites there! I have it most of the times I go. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your sister shopping trips! I love to shop but not many of my sisters join me in that love, unfortunately. But we have the laughter, the talking up a storm, and much fun down pat when we get together :)
ReplyDeleteA great tradition. I'm happy for you. Makes me miss my sis and the way we baked Christmas cookies together every year. Sisters are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous that you all are always done so early! Glad you had fun!
ReplyDeleteOh what a lot of fun! So happy you all had a good trip.
ReplyDeleteSuch fun you ladies have. I do remember y'all last year. Wish I had a sister. :)
