Easter!

I hope you all had a good Easter.  It was a beautiful day here, fairly warm and pretty sunny.  I had the day off and very much enjoyed going to the Easter service at our church.  We had a quiet afternoon, then Aaron and Laura, with Alaina and Ruby, and Andrew and Heather came by later in the evening.

Here's Ruby and Alaina in the matching dresses Laura made for them.  Ruby is looking sad because she wanted to run off and play, so we had Alaina hold on to her.

We made some pizza for supper, and Ruby was enjoying it, but also peaking around her chair.

Alaina loves to build towers!

Here they are checking out what's in the Easter basket we had for them.

They thought this little pig was fun. You put a ball in his snout, and when you squeeze him it pops out.

And they always enjoy time with Grandpa - and he enjoys time with them even more!

  2. What a special time you all shared. The girls look precious in their matching dresses. Their mom is talented. Not all of your photos in this post are showing up on my laptop; I'll check back later to see their Easter baskets.

  5. Awwwwwwwwww, adorable dresses for sure.

I would even have fun with the pig. [especially teasing the cats with it. I have an ornery streak like that] LOL

And my favorite photo today? The last one...with Grandpa. Sweet times and wonderful memories for the girls.

  6. Those grand girls are just precious. That Ruby just makes me smile. I am sure she keeps you on your toes and it is a good thing she has a competent big sis to keep tabs on her!! Cute dresses too. Not many moms make Easter apparel any more.

  7. Those girls are so adorable and their matching Easter dresses are perfect! That little Ruby is a mess, isn't she?! It's so fun to see how different the girls are. Alaina is quieter and Ruby is so rambunctious!! She seems to want to be moving all the time, and probably only stops when she falls asleep! So glad you had some fun family time for Easter (and that you had the day off!)!
